Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for Pump Supply, Install, Maintenance, Repair and Hire worth an estimated £401.64 million.

The water company is looking to select suppliers to provide Pump Supply, Install, Maintenance, Repair and Hire Programme services.
• Lot 1: Submersible pumps (Dry well, Wet well), Mixers, Ancillaries and Spares £124,800,000
• Lot 2: Multistage and End Suction Pumps and Spares £9,240,000
• Lot 3: Submersible Borehole Pumps and Spares £7,200,000
• Lot 4: Progressive Cavity Pumps (sludge & cake) and Spares Maintenance (multiple sourcing to help manage the legacy estate):£16,800,000
• Lot 5: Maintenance and Repair of Pumps and other Plant £27,600,000
• Lot 6: Pump and other Plant Material Costs £30,000,000
• Lot 7: Equipment hire (pumps and ancillary equipment) £186,000,000
Suppliers can tender for all seven Lots - the maximum number of Lots that can be awarded to any one tenderer is seven.
Initial contract term is 4 years with the option of two further separate renewal options, each of 2 years.
